#HealAmerica Hits A Snag, Yet Pushes Ahead

Persistence Pays!

Hey there,

How was Xmas... were you ready for it?

Every year we see it coming from a long way off, yet somehow we still end up scrambling over the final days leading up to that big day.

If we can be overwhelmed by something so predictable, how then do we cope with something that is truly unexpected but devastatingly destructive?

I'm talking here about my charitable endeavor, #HealAmerica.

The company which manufactures #HealAmerica's products was chosen by me because it had the best of both worlds - a major market presence, a wide product selection and considerable fundraising potential.

So imagine my surprise and dismay to learn that this company has not only run hopelessly out of several popular stock items, it is also plagued with several technical issues which have an adverse effect on the consumer visibility of its marketplace.

In a word, their service is unreliable.

Luckily, the print-on-demand business model is one which requires little to no entrepreneurial investment in its manufacturing process. Thus my only loss so far has been hours and hours of design work and listing configuration.

Despite this debilitating derailment, I knew that giving up was not an option. Neither was postponement.

Instead I tried working with the manufacturer to resolve the issue and when that failed, I decided to work around the problem altogether.

I'm now working with a new manufacturer, although my listings with the original one remain active.

This new company is actually one with which I partnered during sister blog Donna's Glorious Giveaways' first year of operation. This company was the natural choice because its pioneering work in the print-on-demand space had earned it industry-leader status.

However, its design requirements were so stringent that the service was suited only to graphic artists. So I shelved the campaign.

More than three years later, this company is easier than ever to work with and I have an actual design studio subscription which allows me to create images well-suited to 3-D printers. So we've both grown.

The result is a suite of beautifully designed, in-stock products covering a much larger range of options and enjoying much improved online visibility.

All of my product links (save a few giveaway items) have been updated to point to this new marketplace and we're ready and rearing to go!

I urge you to check us out and see why I'm so proud of what we've been able to create. In fact, I'm sure you might even find a belated Xmas gift or two on our virtual shelves.

Without further ado, it gives me great pleasure to present the #HealAmerica store, where new products are added weekly.
